What to Avoid: G-Classes
But logically, um, G550, 5.5L NA engine dodges the German Turbo-Engine unreliability.
Er. Good service history?

Hm. I glanced at Oppo earlier, saw this post, shrugged, went outside for a smoke and an AMG G rolls by with some businessy fellow on the phone. Lovely sound on the rollaway. It's a sign!
Other than that, no idea. I used to see a lot of Puch branded Gelandewagens around here, but then, I'm just south of Austria where they build all G-Wagens. :)
Have a (Croatian (shout out to my southern neighbours!) Firefighters') Puch:
The Puch company helped develop the thing back in the day. And the founder Johann Puch (Janez Puh) was my compatriot. He was an inventor/innovator and the company produced bikes and mopeds at first.
Just in case you wanted some trivia. I always like to hear stuff like this. *shrug*
I was also gonna post a lovely Puch print ad with a moped and a topless '60s lass with nice hangers, alas, this ain't tagged NSFW and I hear there's been an uproar about NSFW on Oppo lately.

A large Mercedes branded off roader? Prepare your anus wallet for those maintenance fees.

Carmax actually has a no G-wagen policy according to Doug Demuro. He's also owned one, I believe.
AMIRITE DOUG?

Eh, you just need to get the Nico Rosberg edition turbo, not the Lewis Hamilton one.

You should totally get a Cherokee instead ;-)
